Terms And Conditions
  1. Reservation
    To guarantee your reservation, we require confirmation in writing and a non-refundable deposit of £500.00 for the Eaton Room and the Boardroom, £1,000.00 - £1,500.00 for the Venetian Room, depending on the guaranteed minimum numbers, and £2,500.00 for the Westminster Suite.

  2. Menus
    In order to maintain our high standards of cuisine we regret a choice of menu cannot be given for private dining events, therefore your choice of menu will be served to all guests. We can however cater for individual dietary requirements, for example, vegetarians, coeliacs, etc, but with prior notice only.

  3. Minimum Numbers And Menu Prices
    Listed below are our private dining suites indicating the minimum numbers and menu prices. Should the number of attendees fall below these amounts then a room hire charge will be levied. Please note that the current menu prices will be subject to a price increase on 1st September 2006. Wines are subject to availability and market fluctuations.

    Eaton Room
    Minimum Number: 10
    Minimum Menu Price £45.00
    A room hire charge of £250.00 will be levied for numbers less than 10.

    Boardroom
    Minimum Number: 10
    Minimum Menu Price £47.50
    A room hire charge of £250.00 will be levied for numbers less than 10.

    Venetian Room
    Minimum Number: 25
    Minimum Menu Price £45.00
    A room hire charge of £500.00 will be levied for numbers less than 25.

    Westminster Suite
    Minimum Number: 120
    Minimum Menu Price £45.00
    A room hire charge of £1,500.00 will be levied for numbers less than 120.

  4. Service Charge
    Please note that a discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to all events in the Boardroom, the Eaton and Venetian Rooms. If pre-payment is required, the service charge element may be withheld until after the event.

  5. Minimum Charges
    We require confirmation of the final catering numbers at least seven working days prior to the date of the function. The Chester Grosvenor and Grosvenor Spa reserve the right to charge in full for the catering numbers as confirmed in the initial signed contract, unless this number increases, in which case you will be charged accordingly.

  6. Prepayment
    For private events, a pro-forma invoice will be issued six weeks prior to the event, full payment of which should be lodged with the hotel four weeks prior to the event.

  7. Cancellation Policy
    Should the event be cancelled within four months of the date of the function, you will remain liable to the Hotel for the price agreed at the time of the initial booking confirmation. We will however, allow 50% of the charge to be offset against any future spends at the hotel. This allowance is valid for a period of six months from the date of the function. If the event is cancelled outside the four-month period, the deposit will be held by the Hotel and off-set against any future spends at the hotel. This is valid for a period of six months from the date of the function.

    However, if after cancellation, the Hotel secures and is paid for a substituted booking, you will be accredited accordingly less the value of the non refundable deposit.
